All Souls Night: Soap

This soap was inspired by the meditation, All Souls Night. In the meditation, the setting is described as having the moon shining on the river. That is where this soap is inspired from. Using two shades of blue, the soap was poured using a container swirl method. A layer of aqua glitter powder was dusted next. Using black and gray, a little bit of soap was poured after the first layer set up some. A white melt and pour moon was placed into the mold with more of the black/gray layer added over that. Holo glitter was added to the top. The fragrance that was used is called Stormy Nights.

This was my favorite to create. It's another soap where each layer is a little different with the swirls. The scent was a perfect choice for the soap as well. The only thing I would do differently is make the moon out of my recipe rather than melt and pour. By the time the soap was ready to cut, the moon was very hard and it made cutting the soap very difficult. This gave me some wonky cuts. I will totally want to make this soap again in the future.
